Précivision ™ used for positioning of tools on high precision automatic lathes

The position of cutting tools on high precision automatic lathes is measured using an automated Vision system with diascopic sharp-edged profile projection.

We are able to obtain an impressive 0,5 mm level of precision thanks to innovative MESU™ equipment and software; this technology is the result of extensive experience in metrology as applied to automated macroscopic measurements.

Tools with a radius less than or equal to 1 mm are measured in a field of 2 X 1.6 mm using a matrix camera with a resolution of nearly 800 X 500 pixels. We are able to obtain pixel resolutions of 2 mm/800, i.e. 2.5 mm. Consequently, the margin of error is equivalent to pixel/5.

 

Non-contact inspection for width & thickness measurements in continuous material production

Episcopic optical head equipped with two on-board powerful LED projectors mounted on a motorised linear two-axis stage driven by a step motor.

Planar laser triangulation sensors are used determine thickness differentials.

Real time measurement using two sensors on board a motorised linear transverse axis.

Length
Gauging system using synchronous cameras and strobe lighting

MONITORING WELDING

Molten pool visaulization using YAG lasers

Turnkey visualization machine system designed for YAG welding adjustment parameters by the observation of the molten pool

A powerful light combined with a focusing lens, allows to observe the scene with optimal sharpness on a 10 X 7,5 mm2 surface.

The scene which is visualized includes : the key hole, the end of the electrode and the metal solidification area.

Real time visualization of the scene is obtained with a 200 images /second frequency thanks to a rapid CCD camera.
Video sequences are stored on a computer hard disc equipped with an image processing card.
